First, we will reach the Colosseum, also commonly known as Coliseum or Colosseo in Italian.
Our itinerary to discover the Ancient Rome will start at the first stage where gladiators used to match against each other and wild animals.
Then, strolling through the different layers of the monument, you will learn historical facts and interesting anecdotes you won’t easily find on common books and guides!
Once arrived at the second stage of the Colosseum, you will have the chance to admire the remains that were found during the 2008 diggings.
Before leaving, we will stop to admire the Arch of Constantine, learning all about its history and hidden symbolism.

Due to security checks there may be long lines at the Colosseum, especially during the high season, notwithstanding the skip-the-line tickets
To avoid the crowd, I recommend visitors to book the Rome Colosseum Tour with admission tickets in full advance in order to be sure to start the tour early in morning.
Wearing comfortable footwear is also recommended.
